UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva

UFC 108: Evans vs. SilvaUFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva is supposed to face former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort in the main event of UFC 108. The match-up was called off because because Silva will not be fully healed from elbow surgery.

Instead of the Silva vs. Belfort match-up, UFC 108 will feature the fight between Rashad Evans and Thiago Silva in its main event. UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva is scheduled on January 2, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Main Card

  • Light Heavyweight bout: Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva
  • Welterweight bout: Dustin Hazelett vs. Paul Daley
  • Lightweight bout: Joe Lauzon vs. Sam Stout
  • Lightweight bout: Jim Miller vs. Duane Ludwig
  • Heavyweight bout: Junior dos Santos vs. Gilbert Yvel

  • Welterweight bout: Martin Kampmann vs. Jacob Volkmann
