UFC 107: Penn vs. Sanchez Results
BJ Penn opened a 3 inch cut on Diego Sanchez’ forhead with a kick which prompted the physician to stop the fight at the 2 minutes and 37 seconds of the fifth round of the main event of UFC 107: Penn vs. Sanchez at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.
With the TKO win, BJ Penn reatined his lightweight championship belt.
On the co-main event, Frank Mir submitted Cheick Kongo via guillotine choke submission at the 1:12 of the first round, Mir is aiming for a chance for a championship rematch against Brock Lesnar.

Diego ‘the Nightmare’ Sanchez will try to snatch the UFC Lightweight belt from B.J. Penn in the main event of UFC 107: Penn vs. Sanchez scheduled on December 12, 2009 at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.
On the co-main event, Frank Mir will try to slaughter Cheick Kongo to gain a chance to avenge his loss against Brock Lesnar in UFC 100.

- Middleweight bout: Tom Lawlor defeated C.B. Dollaway via submission (guillotine choke) at 0:55 of round 1.
- Welterweight bout: Kim defeated Grant via unanimous decision (30–26, 30–26, 30–26).
- Light Heavyweight bout: Jon Jones defeated Jake O’Brien via submission (modified guillotine choke) at 2:43 of round 2.
- Lightweight bout: Jim Miller defeated Mac Danzig via unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–27).
- Light Heavyweight bout: Mark Coleman defeated Stephan Bonnar via unanimous decision (29–28, 29–28, 29–28).
